Hot French roast coffee, cool temperatures outside, a writer writes I have to wear the skin tight gloves when I write as my hands are cold. The speed difference is frightening as to when I can go faster without the gloves.
Ok, I decided to see what my hunt-and-peck speed of typing was, so I tried out an online speed checker (three, actually). Well it turned out to my surprise that it was 22 wpm! I can live with that, I suppose, but the error rate was unacceptable. Thank the Lord for spell checker.. Of course, there is always dragon speak software, allowing me to spew meaninglessly into the computer and have whatever inane thought pop into my head be typed. I didn’t do that today, like I said, I just wanted to measure a bit of how fast I can type.
I haven’t blogged in quite a while, and am so backed up…with things to do on my plate that it can get disconcerting at times. I will probably try some fiction next to see if that loosens the brain any…I think I’ll go recharge on some more coffee and things to get ready for that Herculean task.
